Privacy fence with gabion
Two builders from Lower Franconia used a successful blend of wood composite and stone for their fences. They skillfully combined profiles from the Creative series with gabions made of rubble stone.

Visually appealing visual and sound protection
The Martin family's property is located directly on a busy road without a paved sidewalk. The fence was intended to provide both a visually appealing privacy screen and effective soundproofing. Standing on his freshly laid terrace made of oak-brown Naturline planks from NaturinForm, the owner came up with the idea of combining the materials. The two materials actually complement each other perfectly, creating an attractive, unique privacy screen.
Easy assembly
Five 1.20-meter-wide gabions form the solid posts of the two-meter-high fence. Between them, four 2.20-meter-wide elements made of oak- brown Creative rhombus battens, pre-assembled by the client himself, were secured with metal brackets. A batten attached to the back ensures the stability of the elements, and a squared timber base prevents moisture from rising.
Individual design
The Blum family also opted for the combination of wood composite and gabions. They had a metalworker prefabricate steel frames onto which they easily and quickly installed the rhombus strips – shown here in amber. One of the pre-assembled elements serves as the garden gate.
Both clients also valued the low maintenance requirements of the wood composite profiles. Enriching the wood with polymer protects the material from moisture, making it more weather-resistant. No oiling or painting is necessary; cleaning—if necessary at all—is straightforward with water and a brush.
