Please note that in certain situations it is possible that personal data may need to be disclosed in legal proceedings or to authorities.

§ 4 Cookies

  1. We use cookies on our website. These are small files that your browser automatically creates and stores on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our site. Cookies do not cause any damage to your device, do not contain viruses, Trojans, or other malware, and contain information related to the specific device you are using. However, this does not mean that we directly know your identity.
  2. The use of cookies serves, on the one hand, to make using our services more pleasant for you. For example, we use so-called session cookies to recognize that you have already visited individual pages of our website. These are automatically deleted after you leave our site.
  3. We also use temporary cookies, which are stored on your device for a specified period of time to optimize user experience. When you visit again, we recognize that you have already visited us, and your previously entered information and settings can be retained.
  4. We also use cookies to statistically record the use of our website and to optimize our services for you (see section 5). These cookies are automatically deleted after a defined period of time.
  5. The data processed by cookies is necessary for the aforementioned purposes to protect our legitimate interests and those of third parties in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Most browsers automatically accept cookies. However, you can configure your browser so that no cookies are saved or a warning appears before a new cookie is set. Please note that in this case, not all functions of our website will be available.

§ 5 Tracking tools

  1. The tracking measures listed below are carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. They serve the needs-based design and continuous optimization of our website, as well as the statistical recording of website usage. The respective data processing purposes and categories can be found in the respective tracking tools.
  2. a) Google Analytics

To tailor our website to meet your needs and continuously optimize it, we use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. ( https://www.google.de/intl/de/about/) (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; hereinafter "Google"). Pseudonymous user profiles are created and cookies (see section 4) are used. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website, such as:

    1. Browser type/version,
    2. operating system used,
    3. Referrer URL (the previously visited page),
    4. Hostname of the accessing computer (IP address),
    5. Time of the server request,

are transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The information is used to evaluate website usage, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website usage – e.g. for market research and optimization purposes. Your IP address will not be merged with other Google data. IP addresses are anonymized (IP masking). You can prevent cookies from being installed by setting your browser accordingly – however, please note that if you do this, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. In addition, you can prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and processing this data by downloading and installing a browser add-on ( https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de). An opt-out cookie will be set which prevents your data from being collected in the future when you visit this website – however, this only applies in this browser and only for our website. If you delete the cookies, you must set the opt-out cookie again. For more information about data protection in connection with Google Analytics, please visit the Google Analytics Help Center.

  3. b) Google Adwords Conversion Tracking

We use Google Conversion Tracking to statistically record the use of our website and to optimize our offering. Google Adwords places a cookie (see section 4) on your computer if you have accessed our website via a Google ad. This cookie expires after 30 days and is not used for personal identification. If a user visits certain pages of the Adwords customer's website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and the respective customer can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and then accessed a page with a conversion tracking tag. Each Adwords customer receives their own cookie, thus preventing subsequent tracking across different websites. The information collected via the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for customers who use conversion tracking. This only determines the total number of users who clicked on the ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag – personal identification does not take place. If you do not wish to participate in this tracking process, you can prevent the setting of the necessary cookies, for example, via the appropriate browser settings.

  4. c) Matomo

We use the open source software Matomo to analyze and statistically evaluate the use of our website. Cookies (see section 4) are used to transmit information about website usage to our servers and compile it into pseudonymized user profiles. The data obtained is used exclusively to analyze website usage and optimize our offering. The collected data is not passed on to third parties. The IP address is not merged with other personal data, as this is anonymized (IP masking). Your visit is currently being recorded by Matomo web analytics. Click hereto prevent your visit from being recorded.

§ 6 Social Media Plug-ins

  1. We use social plug-ins from the social networks Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram on our website based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR to raise awareness of our company. The advertising purpose is considered a legitimate interest within the meaning of the GDPR. The responsibility for data protection-compliant operation lies with the respective providers. These plug-ins are integrated using the so-called two-click method to best protect our website visitors.
  2. a) Facebook

Our website uses social media plug-ins from Facebook to make the experience more personal – for example, through the “LIKE” or “SHARE” button. As soon as you visit a page on our website that contains such a plug-in, your browser establishes a direct connection to the Facebook servers. The content of the plug-in is sent directly to your browser and integrated into the website. This tells Facebook that your browser has accessed the corresponding page – even if you do not have a Facebook account or are not logged in. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted to a Facebook server in the USA and stored there. If you are logged in to Facebook, your visit to our website can be associated with your Facebook account. If you interact with the plug-in, for example by clicking on “LIKE” or “SHARE”, the corresponding information is also transmitted to Facebook, stored there, and published among your Facebook friends. Facebook can also use this data for advertising purposes, market research, and to tailor its pages to meet your needs.

  3. b) Twitter

Our website contains plug-ins from the short message network Twitter. You can recognise the Twitter plug-in by the Twitter logo. You can find an overview of the tweet buttons here. When you visit a page with such a plug-in, a direct connection is established between your browser and the Twitter server. Twitter thus receives the information that your IP address has visited our page. If you click on the Twitter “tweet button” while logged into your Twitter account, you can link content from our pages to your Twitter profile - which means that your visit to our page is associated with your user account. We have no insight into the content of the data transmitted or how Twitter uses it further. If you do not want Twitter to associate your visits, please log out of your Twitter account.

  4. c) Instagram

Our website uses social plugins from Instagram, operated by Instagram LLC (1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA). The plugins are labeled, for example, "Instagram camera." When you visit a page with such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to the Instagram servers. The plugin content is sent directly to your browser and integrated into the page. This informs Instagram that your browser has accessed the corresponding page - even if you do not have an Instagram profile or are not logged in. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted to an Instagram server in the USA and stored there. If you are logged in to Instagram, your visit to our website can be associated with your Instagram account. If you interact with the plugin, the information is transmitted to Instagram and stored there - it can also be published on your Instagram profile. If you want to prevent Instagram from assigning the data collected via our website to your account, please log out of Instagram before visiting our website.

  5. d) Xing

Our website uses social plugins from Xing. Clicking the Xing button establishes a connection to the servers of XING AG, Gänsemarkt 43, 20354 Hamburg, Germany. Xing uses sharing functions, such as a page counter. No personal data is stored; in particular, no IP addresses are saved, and no usage behavior is analyzed. Further information on data protection regarding the "Share button" can be found at https://www.xing.com/app/share?op=data_protection.

§ 7 Rights of data subjects

  1. 2. Correction (Art. 16 GDPR):You have the right to immediately request the correction of incorrect or incomplete personal data stored by us.

  4. Restriction (Art. 18 GDPR):You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data if you dispute the accuracy of the data, the processing is unlawful, but you refuse to delete it and you need the data for legal claims.
  5. Objection (Art. 21 GDPR):You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data.
  6. Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR):You have the right to receive the personal data you have provided to us in a structured, common and machine-readable format or to request that it be transmitted to another controller.
  7. Revocation of consent (Art. 7 Para. 3 GDPR):You can revoke your consent at any time, which means that we may no longer continue the data processing based on this consent in the future.
  8. Right to lodge a complaint (Article 77 GDPR):You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority – usually the supervisory authority of your usual place of residence, place of work or our company headquarters.

§ 8 Right of objection

  1. If your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, you have the right to object to this processing pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR – in particular if there are reasons arising from your particular situation or if the objection is directed against direct advertising.
  2. In the latter case, your objection will be implemented generally without you having to explain a particular situation.
  3. If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal or objection, simply send an email to info@naturinform.com.

§ 9 Data security

  1. During your visit to our website, we use the widely used SSL (Secure Socket Layer) method in conjunction with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser – usually 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we use 128-bit v3 technology.
  2. You can tell whether a single page of our website is being transmitted in encrypted form by the key or lock symbol in the lower status bar of your browser.
  3. We use appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or unauthorized access – our measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.

§ 10 Currentness and changes to this privacy policy

  1. This privacy policy is currently valid and corresponds to the status as of May 2018. Due to the further development of our website or due to changes in legal or official requirements, it may become necessary to amend this policy.
  2. The current privacy policy can be accessed and printed at any time at www.naturinform.com.
