Facade cladding Märzgrund
At the beginning of the year, the new factory building of IPT-Hülsen in Markt Schondra, northern Bavaria, was given a real eye-catcher in the entrance area of its administration wing: the Creative facade cladding from NaturinForm. But this not only enhances the building's appearance; the innovative material made of environmentally friendly wood composite offers weather-resistant protection with low maintenance.

The Franconian company IPT-Hülsen manufactures paper tubes for packaging and shipping – exclusively from certified and recycled paper. A new production building was constructed in 2014, with an administration building to the south. The simple, white-plastered, single-story building with a flat roof was given a design element in the entrance area: a cube offset inwards and outwards, which, at 3.70 meters high, stands out from the rest of the building like a portal. The exterior was to be clad with facade cladding as a colorful eye-catcher. The client, Thomas Haseney, initially considered wood cladding. In his search for the system with the lowest maintenance requirements, he opted for Creative from NaturinForm: a new, innovative facade cladding made of a weather-resistant wood composite material. In addition to its resistance to weathering, the lightfastness and low maintenance promised by the system were crucial in choosing the material. The natural wood grain of the profiles also meets the client's wishes regarding the appearance of the entrance area.
Strikingly simple and beautiful
As a counterpoint to the color scheme of the company premises, which is consistently maintained in white, gray, and anthracite tones, the chestnut brown Creative cladding was deliberately chosen for the reception façade. It thus functions as a visual marker for the entrance area and simultaneously maintains a color connection to the company's products. Concealed installation with invisible brackets creates a flat, subtly elegant surface that, in addition to the natural-looking wood grain, is enhanced by a light, factory-applied brushing of the strips, which enhances its aesthetic appeal and structure. The stainless steel corners from the NaturinForm range, together with the parapet formation on the flat roof, form a visually perfect and elegant unit. The recesses in the area of the entrance door and the narrow, floor-to-ceiling, almost storey-high windows lend the façade additional plasticity and depth.
Elegant facade cladding in natural wood look
Creative is a solid rhombus skirting board with a coverage of 99 millimeters and can be installed both horizontally and vertically. It is available in standard lengths of four and six meters, with custom lengths available upon request. The profiles feature a patented, custom wood grain with a natural-looking color gradient in oak, amber, chestnut brown, and graphite gray. Custom colors can be supplied upon request.
Facade design with weather protection
In addition to quick installation, weather resistance, colorfastness, and durability are the decisive criteria for a facade made of wood composite systems. NaturinForm offers an ideal composite material for this purpose with its tested and certified wood-based material with a wood to polymer ratio of approximately 70 to 30 percent. As with all floorboards, the facade solutions also benefit from the material properties of the wood-plastic mixture: Due to the polymer content, the facade profiles are resistant to weather and UV radiation. The material combination also benefits the modern material in terms of maintenance: The facades are extremely low-maintenance. If cleaning is necessary, it is carried out exclusively with water; for heavily soiled surfaces, a high-pressure cleaner can be used.
Environmentally friendly and sustainably produced in Germany
The wood composite profiles are made exclusively from 100 percent PEFC-certified, domestic wood combined with an environmentally friendly polymer. The material is fully recyclable during dismantling. NaturinForm takes back all products, even after many years of outdoor use, to recycle them and return them to the manufacturing process.
