With its new “Urban flair” WPC decking board, Naturinform adds an aesthetically sophisticated yet functional design to its popular “Urban” decking board range. This decking board, which is very popular with architects and private customers alike thanks to its subtle grooving, now offers an embossed surface texture with “Urban flair”. The result is a decking board that impresses both in look and feel and seamlessly integrates into various architectural styles – from modern cubatures to classic designs. “Urban flair” is now available from specialist retailers in five newly defined colours.
The new edition of the “Urban” WPC decking board features a new, modern surface design in the form of an embossing and a revised colour palette. The aesthetic relaunch emphasises the product characteristics of all Naturinform products, which are easy to maintain and particularly robust.
Modern design for every architectural concept
“Urban flair” combines contemporary design with an appealing choice of colours that opens up new possibilities for architects and planners. The five colours – including naturally light tones such as linen, sisal, and pebble, as well as warm, darker shades such as clay and lava grey – create a harmonious overall look and add architectural highlights in outdoor spaces. The versatile colouring and fine embossing make this decking board ideal for a wide variety of applications, whether on terraces, garden paths, pool enclosures or walkways, and it adapts to both modern and classic architectural styles.
“”Urban flair” is the perfect choice for sophisticated architectural projects. Its timeless, modern design blends seamlessly into almost any outdoor architecture”, explains Pia Hobeck, Managing Director of Naturinform. “Whether linear designs or innovative façade elements – the finely textured surface and natural colours of “Urban flair” offer a calm, high-quality addition and extend the living style seamlessly into the outdoors.”
Sustainable and durable – for environmentally friendly building concepts
Naturinform continues its philosophy with “Urban flair”: they focus on sustainability and durability. The WPC decking boards consist of 70 per cent PEFC-certified residual wood fibres and 30 per cent environmentally friendly polymer and are particularly low-maintenance and weather-resistant. The embossed, robust surface makes them ideal for high-traffic outdoor areas, while their durability ensures that they will impress both in terms of looks and function for years to come.
Optimised installation and recyclable materials
“Urban flair” is easy to install and impresses with its narrow joints of just 5 millimetres, which can be realised effortlessly thanks to the installation aids supplied. The decking board, which can be installed on one side, has a width of approx. 162 millimetres, meaning that only 6 linear metres per square metre of surface are required – with a weight of around 22.8 kilograms per square metre. The decking board is now available from specialist dealers in standard lengths of 3, 4, 5, and 6 metres; special lengths of up to 13 metres are available on request.
Naturinform supports sustainable construction with its own return system: At the end of their life cycle, all decking boards and profiles can be returned, just like any processing leftovers, and fed back into the production process. This recycling system helps to ensure that the valuable raw materials remain in the material cycle for more than 600 years and that the consumption of raw materials is sustainably reduced.
